Francesca Silvestri, a Roman by birth and Miamian by choice, is an Oscar-nominated and award-winning producer, whose films like ‘The Florida Project’ captured the hearts of so many. Her roster this year includes ‘Suncoast,’ a movie starring Laura Linney, Woody Harrelson, and Nico Parker, and hopefully some globe trotting from Miami Beach to Capri.
JEWELS / BULGARI. I obsess over its Monete ring in 18k rose gold. The thick gold chains remind me of my childhood, and its watches are indicative of my style. My mom’s engagement ring was from Bulgari too!
MUSEUM OF CHOICE / THE BASS. It’s so close to my house, so I ride my bike there. It’s also a place where my teenage son is happy to go. It offers an unparalleled curation that always showcases great artists and works.
SHOP LOCAL / BEACH BOUTIQUE. This is my favorite place to shop for a personal experience paired with great taste. Patricia, the owner, is a magical creature, and I never leave empty-handed.
EAT / MANDOLIN. The décor, the vibe – it is so warm. I feel as if I were in someone’s home for dinner. A great meal, too. I swear by the Mediterranean Sea Bass prepared with Aegean EVOO, lemon, and oregano.
TRAVEL / ITALY. When I was young, I spent my summers in Capri at the Quisisana. Evoking old-world glamour, what could be more beautiful than views of the Faraglioni? The property is so grand, the staff is impeccably trained, and I dream of
my Aperol on the promenade.
SIGNATURE SCENT / FRACAS. I have been wearing it from day to night since I was a young girl.
READ / ‘LETTERS TO A YOUNG POET BY RILKE.’ This book, written in 1929, has inspired me throughout my career. It’s about staying true to yourself when people come at you, being honest, and garnering the courage to follow your heart when it comes to a creative career.
