THE GOLDEN GIRL

By: ERIN MICHELLE NEWBERG

Since 2020 Regine Basha, the CEO and creative director of jewelry brand Aaron Basha, has called the Magic City her home. Here is how she stays grounded and inspired in the Sunshine State.

SIPS & BITES

The Four Seasons’ Champagne Bar is so close to my house. What’s not to love about it? It is classy, quiet, and has impeccable service. Call Me Gaby in SoFl transports me to Tuscany, so it’s a taste of vacation.

MOOD

I am inspired by human magic, hence my most recent Abra Cadabra collection. I also love meaningful, transformative conversations, traveling, culture, fashion, and music, which allows me to zone out and develop great ideas. MY VIBE / Boho chic, so anything from jean shorts and cowboy boots to a long flowy dress. And I always leave room for jewelry. It’s so important to feel good in what you wear, so that you can carry that positive energy throughout your day.

WORK STYLE

On the go, for instance, like when I am driving. A concept in my head turns into a call with one of our designers, and we turn the idea into a piece of jewelry. They are my vessels for these messages.

SOUL SEARCHER

I love the Sunday Service class at Ahana Yoga in the Design District. The dancing and chanting sets me up for the week ahead, ground me, and raises my vibration. I go to Kasa Kanekshun by Sabrina twice a week for her sound bowl healing and tea ceremonies. It’s my calming sanctuary.

WISH TO BE

In Santa Teresa in Costa Rica. It has a natural vibe, and my spirit feels free there.

TOP READ

“The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle is a classic, and no matter where you are in your life, you can re-read it, and its message resonates.

NUTSHELL

“Never look back; you’re not going that way.”
