How many years have you been a Realtor? I’ve been a Realtor for 12 years but I’ve been “in real estate” my whole life. My mother was a Realtor so I learned the business from her. In 1997, I co-founded reelestates.com, the first video-based virtual tour company in the US. After producing architectural photography, HD video and copywriting for luxurious homes for over a decade, I realized I could combine my unparalleled marketing skills and dedication to customer service with the relationships I established with top luxury agents in the area to serve a greater purpose.
What is your favorite property sold and/or work experience?
I had the opportunity to sell a beautiful waterfront home in Coral Gables with no bridges to Biscayne Bay. The customers had remodeled every inch, and we’d talked about their timeline to sell it in a few years. We knew we were in the midst of a record-setting market, so I asked, “what if someone made you an offer you couldn’t refuse?” We settled on what price that might be and put our plan in action. We did some staging, took amazing architectural photos and produced an incredible video — which became the content for a social media campaign that successfully brought qualified buyers to the first open house — and I sold it in 42 minutes.
What neighborhood/area do you specialize in? As the Cubans say, “un poco de todo.” A little bit of everything! I grew up in Coral Gables and live, work and play just a few minutes from my childhood home. I certainly specialize in the City Beautiful, but my experience expands through Pinecrest, Coconut Grove and wherever entrusted referrals need me to be.

What’s the biggest real estate trend you are seeing right now? We are experiencing the strongest real estate market since data has been recorded in Miami-Dade because of the ability to work virtually. Between no state income tax, warm weather and world-famous beaches, statistics show 700+ people a day are moving to Florida, and it has ignited the Miami market. Second to that is crypto! I sold a multi-million dollar home to a person who made his fortune in Bitcoin and that led me to pursue a certification in crypto transactions. It’s important for me to evolve with the emerging technologies that impact my business.
